KeyboardingIt is important for students in grades 3-5 to become familiar with the qwerty keyboard by practicing their keyboarding skills. Students should practice their keyboarding skills using home row positioning (asdf and jkl;) and keep his/her eyes up on the screen. Below you will find instructional videos explaining how to type the letters of the alphabet using proper home row positioning and online tools to practice. It is recommended that these students practice formal keyboarding approximately 20 minutes per week.
