Curriculum Overview
Students begin the school year with an in-depth study of the U.S. Constitution; the framework of federal and local government. Studies will review the beginnings of America as an independent nation and conclude with the U.S. Constitution exam. Following this students will study and analyze the political and economic system of the United States between 1865 and present with emphasis on the U.S.Civil War, the Industrialization of America, Great Depression, and the emergence of America as a world power. This requires students to further explore the causes and effects of World War I and II.

This year my homework and handouts can all be found in my Google Classroom, which each of my students has access to via their iPads.
