Welcome to Field Middle School! Field Middle School is a learning community with educational professionals committed to contributing to the culture of student success. We are dedicated to providing a stimulating, rigorous and enjoyable learning environment for all students.

At Field, we continuously look for the best ways to support our students’ success. We utilize the Middle School model where your child will have a team of teachers who meet regularly to discuss student progress and plan on how best to support your child’s needs. In addition to a team of teachers, all students also attend Advisory each day, where they have one specific staff member to provide support for them at Field.

Students are provided a rigorous curriculum with many strategies to encourage and challenge all students. Field Middle School is a 1:1 device model where we provide each student with a Chromebook to ensure equitable access to technology for all students. In addition to core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, students are provided yearly exposure to STEM lab, Art, Music, and Family and Consumer Science. To assist students with organization skills, all staff are trained in the Rush Neurobehavioral Executive Functioning program. This program teaches key executive-functioning strategies and skills necessary for life-long success. Students are taught executive functioning skills and strategies during Advisory, and each student is provided with key organizational tools such as an all-in-one binder/backpack/computer bag, a Chromebook, and a paper agenda. Our students are also provided instruction and support for Social and Emotional Learning through the Second Step program, which is taught during Advisory.
