Welcome back! This is going to be an exciting school year filled with tons of learning and new experiences.

My name is Kathryn LePine and I have been teaching for 14 years in various types of classroom and service delivery models in several school districts. I have my bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education with a concentration in math from Eastern Illinois University. Additionally, I have an English Language Learner endorsement from National Louis University. For the past two years, I was a special education teacher in District 31. This year, however, I have a new role as the Intervention Coach. I am ecstatic about my new position since it will give me the opportunity to work closely with students and teachers in a different capacity.

Outside of school, I have a wonderful and supportive family. I live on the northwest side of Chicago with my husband, daughter (7) and son (5). I love to work out and try to be a healthy role model for my children. When I am not at school, I am driving my kids to swim lessons, softball/baseball, and gymnastics.
